Our joint 6th class pupils threw themselves into a series of fun lessons of language immersion and emerged chatting about music, family, hobbies, food and the confidence to meet and greet in any part of the Latino world.
The children also got to sample a little Spanish culture including a real Spanish fiesta. They enjoyed Spanish chorizo sausage, nachos and cheese and spanish valencian orange juice. The children danced the 'Macarena' and of course sang along to 'La Bamba'. It was a very worthwhile spanish, cultural experience for all.
*In case your children can't translate just yet Virginia said “Work in Scoil Ursula has been fantastic, all the students were eager to learn Spanish and were highly motivated. We all had a good time during the course. It was no doubt an extraordinary course”.
