Congratulations to the children from 6th & 2nd Classes, who received their Confirmation & First Communion recently. A big thank you to their teachers, Ms Hoey, Ms Murphy, Ms Clarke & Ms Mitchell and to our SNAs, Simone Hickey and Imelda Mc Daid, for their wonderful work in preparing the children for their special days. Thanks also to our marvellous choir, who enhanced the ceremonies so beautifully under the direction of Mr Mitchell and accompanied by Emma Purcell. We are also grateful for the input of our local priests, Fr. Declan & Canon Tom. Thanks also to our secretary, Mary Meehan for the beautiful Booklets and to our caretaker, Liam Mc Loughlin and teacher, Sinéad Caffrey for transporting the artwork and adorning the Cathedral for the occasion.
A huge thank you to our wonderful Parents' Association who provided the refreshments and made the presentations in the Gilhooly Hall after both ceremonies!! There was a fantastic spread on both days and they were most enjoyable occasions!!
