The internet is a fantastic resource full of information and great learning opportunities for children and adults alike.
To help you help your children we've listed some website links here where you can learn about what you can do to help keep your children safe online. The best starting points is always:
  1. Get involved - talk to your child about their internet use, what they do, who they communicate with and what they see/ read
  2. Get informed - make sure you read up on the latest in internet use, social networking and new media

The NCCA (National Council for Curriculum and Assessment) has developed some new maths resources for parents in partnership with the Marino Institute of Education.

They include 12 video clips and two tip sheets all focused on the infant level in primary schools. The purpose of the resources is to share ideas and tips with parents for things they can do using everyday items, to help their children learn and have fun with maths.

To find the resources simply click here. This link is also permanently on the sidebar of this blog.
