Our Board Of ManagementThe Board of Management of Scoil Ursula is a highly qualified group of people who have the responsibility of overseeing the running of the school. The Board of Management is appointed for a period of four years and meets at least five times a year.

Chairperson: Marian Moore
This is Marian's fourth term as Chairperson. She has always enjoyed being involved in the life of Scoil Ursula and was previously a leading light on the Parents' Association when her children were here. Patron's Nominee: Canon Tom Hever Canon Tom is a priest in the Cathedral Parish and has served on the Scoil Ursula Board over many years. Secretary: Tony Gallagher Tony took over the role of school principal when Mrs Mc Sharry retired at the beginning of 2010. The principal acts as Secretary on Boards of Management in most Primary Schools. |
Teacher Nominee: Roy Mitchell
Roy has been on the teaching staff of Scoil Ursula since 2005. He currently teaches 3rd Class and has a keen interest in ICT, which earned his class blog a National Junior Spider Award last year. Roy acts as Capital Projects Officer on the Board. Parent Nominees: Sharon Carleton & John Kennedy Sharon & John were elected by the Parent body to serve on the Board over the next four years. Sharon has one child, Cara, in Scoil Ursula while John has two: Bronagh & Conal. Sharon is the Board's School Premises Officer while John fulfils the role of Safety Officer. Community Representatives: Sinéad Mc Hugh & John Mc Nabola Sinéad & John fulfil the roles of Community Reps on the Board. Sinéad is a past pupil of Scoil Ursula and John is husband of our former Deputy Principal, Maisie. Sinéad acts as Treasurer on the Board and John is the Maintenance Officer. |
