Bhí craic iontach againn sa Halla inné ag an ceolchoirm le haghaidh Seachtain na Gaeilge. Féach ar na pictiurí, MP3s agus na fistéipeanna thíos agus bainigí taitneamh as! Bhí Lá Glas againn ar Aoine Sheachtain na Gaeilge le ceol, craic, rinnce, dramaíocht agus Tráth na gCeist. Bhí lá íontach ag gach duine agus comghairdeas do na Smólaigh a bhuaigh Tráth na gCeist i mbliana. D'ullmhaigh Rang a 6 'Flashmob an Dreoilín' don scoil ar fad. Another great performance from Ms. Crowley & Mrs. Kernan's classes as they tell the story of the birth of our Lord. Hope you all enjoy the clips as much as we enjoyed the production! Our annual Carol Singing event will take place in the Quayside Shopping Centre on Saturday 15th of December from 3.30pm to 5.30pm. We are calling all volunteers from 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th class to join us again to have some fun for a few hours. Full Brown Uniform and a Santa Hat will be worn by all students. A permission slip has been sent home via your children. There will be a 1 hour rehearsal in the cookery room at 6.15pm on Thursday 13th - we would ask that all parents collect their children on both days and that permission slips would be completed and returned on Thursday 13th at the rehearsal. We would also be very grateful for any parents help on the day to help us collect money. West Midlands Theatre Group performed "The King of Copenhagen" for the Junior classes of Scoil Ursula last week. It was a very enjoyable interactive performance as you can see from the photos below.
A number of talented musicians, singers and dancers performed a concert in the Southern Hotel for a large group of elderly guests to mark European Year for Active Ageing and Solidarity between Generations. The Scoil Ursula participation in this thoroughly enjoyed event was organised by School Secretary, Mary Meehan and the repertoire was co-ordinated by teacher, Mary Branley. A big thank you to everyone involved especially the performers you can see below!!
Bhí Seachtain na Gaeilge againn an seachtain seo caite agus bhí Lá Glas sa scoil ar an Aoine. Bhí na páistí gléasta suas in éadaí glasa agus bhí Ceolchoirm mór le ceol, filíocht, amhránaíocht, rinnce, drámaíocht agus craic go leor ag gach éinne!! Bhí Tráth na gCeist ag na ranganna sinsearacha sa thráthnóna agus bhain gach duine taitneamh as. Míle buíochas le Bean Nhic Mhuraláin & Iníon Nic Reannacháin agus na múinteoirí go léir a mhaisigh an halla agus a shocraigh an ócáid speisialta seo. |
