Operation Transformation

The Irish Sports Council and the 33 Local Sports Partnerships around the country have teamed up with RTE’s Operation Transformation Programme ( presenter Kathryn Thomas) to encourage people to follow a healthy lifestyle in 2013.

People of Sligo are been encouraged to kick start a healthy and active lifestyle for 2013 by joining Sligo Sport and Recreation Partnership at 12 noon on Saturday 19th January for one of the Operation Transformation National Walks. The meeting place for the walk is JFK Parade Sligo and the route will follow along Doorly Park over a distance of 4 kilometres.
