50th Anniversary Celebrations

Official opening of Scoil Ursula 11th February 1966

This coming school year will see the 50th Anniversary of the official opening of Scoil Ursula on 11th February 1966. We are planning a few different things to mark this important anniversary in the life of our school. One of these will be a commemorative book filled with photos, memories and stories of the many pupils, parents and staff that are or have been a part of our school. We are looking for your photos, stories and memories of the school to help in making up this book. To this end we've set up a special email address where we'd love for you to share your special memories of the school and the people that have made it such a fantastic success.

Please send any photos, stories and memories to [email protected] and we'll try and include as much as we can in the finished book.

If you have old photos that you'd like to share with us we’d love to be able to borrow, scan and return them to you. You can drop in any old (or newer!) photos to Mary in the school office. Please put the photos in a sealed envelope marked “50th Anniversary” with your name and phone number on them. If you have any idea of the names of the people in the photos and dates it would be great if you could include these details on a slip of paper in the envelope too.
