We celebrate St. Brigid's day on the 1st of February. This is the first day of Spring. St. Brigid is an Irish saint. She spread her cloak on the ground when she wanted land for a convent. The cloak grew and grew. Brigid made a cross out of rushes to teach about Jesus.
