Stories of Jesus

We love listening to stories of Jesus. Teacher told us the story of the loaves and the fish. We watched a song and video of the story and asked teacher to share it on the blog to show our parents and friends. The music is very relaxing. We coloured in our Alive - O workbooks as we listened to the song.

Farmyard in the Schoolyard

Today, Monday the 24th of November, Farmer John came to visit.

First Farmer John talked to us about litter. He pretended to eat an empty bag of crisps. He did this because it smelled so good and tasty. He started choking! This taught us that if we litter animals might eat the bags we throw out and die.

After that, Farmer John blamed us for being litter bugs. We told him we are not litter bugs.  We pick up our litter and put it in the bin or our pockets.......or under our hats!!

Then Farmer John showed us the Kit Kat book. In our groups we had to look for the Kit Kat wrapper. People in the book had been littering! We put litter in the bin.

Next, John opened his boxes. He had a chicken and four chicks. In the other box he had one white rabbit and three white bunnies. One bunny had grey ears. They all had red eyes.

We took turns petting and holding the animals. John had the animals today to show us that if we litter these poor animals could choke on our wrappers. We will never ever litter because we love animals!
