On Wednesday the 14th of January we had a day off school because it was snowing. The roads were too slippy and dangerous. Today, we wrote acrostic poems about our snow day.
Snowday Snow ball No school Oh my golly gosh! Winter Delightful Awesome Yay!! Snowday Snow is fun, No school for boys and girls, Out site for the whole day, Wow! you built an amazing snowman, Diving into piles of snow, A great day for everybody You can come again. We began our Christmas and Winter art on Friday. We made snow globes and pasted pictures of ourselves dressed in our winter clothes trapped inside. We pretended snow was falling as we posed for the photograph. We drew one winter thing in the globe with us. We sponged bubble wrap with white paint and printed it to look like snow. Here is the final result.
Sing along to Away in a Manger at home. Get somebody to practice with you.We love listening to stories of Jesus. Teacher told us the story of the loaves and the fish. We watched a song and video of the story and asked teacher to share it on the blog to show our parents and friends. The music is very relaxing. We coloured in our Alive - O workbooks as we listened to the song. Today, Monday the 24th of November, Farmer John came to visit.
