The Tulip

The
tulip flower first came from Turkey. It is very popular in
Holland.The
leaves are broad and strappy. They have a waxy coating that gives them a
blue-green color. Flowers
are usually cup-shaped.

Care for your tulip.

Place your potted tulip by a window where it receives at least five
hours of direct sunlight per day.
Tulips do not like too much water so your pot must be well-drained and dry or
sandy. Water the tulip when the top portion of the soil is dry and make
sure the water drains. Perhaps a little water every second day depending on
sunlight/weather.
