Third and fourth classes were blessed with a beautiful crisp Autumnal day to embark on a nature walk up to Kevinsfort. We were extremely fortunate to have the grand expertise of Mrs. McNabola, who very kindly came out of retirement for the afternoon! Mrs. Mc Nabola is truly a wealth of information and showed us all the different species of trees in Kevinsfort, such as the maple, beech, oak and sycamore, as well as of course the fairy tree! We also really enjoyed listening to her old stories from the farm she grew up on.
