 Did you ever wonder where Santa Claus lived? Well this week second class are discovering lots of interesting things about the north pole. Sometimes it is called 'the top of the world'. The land around the North Pole are called the Arctic It is very, very cold there. There is ice and snow all the time-even in summer! Whales, seals and many birds find lots of fish to eat in the cold Arctic water. In winter most of the birds fly to warmer countries. Some of the animals hibernate.
