Green Schools
Our school is proud of its long-standing involvement in the Green Schools programme, through which we have achieved multiple Green Flags in recognition of our commitment to environmental care. Promoting environmental awareness and sustainability is at the heart of school life.
This year, our dedicated Green Schools Committee is focusing on the theme of Global Citizenship: Litter and Waste. The committee meets regularly to plan and review initiatives, and pupils take an active role through a rota system for litter picking. Across the school, all classrooms are equipped with recycling and compost bins, supporting our goal of reducing waste. We also encourage the use of reusable bottles and lunchboxes as part of our efforts to build sustainable habits. These are just some of the projects we are working on. We are passionate about protecting our environment and are working enthusiastically towards achieving our next Green Flag
School Garden
Our school garden is a wonderful space that supports the environment and promotes biodiversity. It provides a habitat for insects and wildlife, while helping pupils learn about nature in a hands-on and meaningful way. Working in the garden gives children the opportunity to develop important skills such as teamwork, responsibility, and an appreciation for where food comes from. We are excited to begin planting our vegetables and look forward to harvesting them in the winter months. We are also very grateful for the support of our parents, whose help in creating and maintaining the garden is invaluable.
