Both our boys and girls teams had an excellent day out today playing games against Rathcormac NS in Kent Park. 
The boys played first and after a slow start, they made an excellent comeback in the second half showing some great grit, determination and team work! 
Unfortunately, the half time deficit proved too much and they lost out by 4 points. They girls played next and were up against a very strong Rathcormac girls team who just proved too strong on the day and came out on top. Our girls never gave up and should be very proud of themselves for their huge effort and never giving up! 
Training will continue for both teams next week as each team will now progress into the Shield competition. Well done to all and huge thank you to the ref John, Rathcormac NS, to St. Mary’s for the use of their facilities and pitch and all teachers involved in supporting and coaching the teams.
