Scoil Ursula N.S.

We are one of nine schools in County Sligo to be picked for the 'Traffic theme' under the green schools organisation. We had a lady in talking to each class about the importance of being green, eg. walking to school if possible and also the idea of 'ride and stride', where we are encouraged to park further away from the school and walk the rest of the journey-all ways which would ease congestion at the school. We will have another talk in January and rewards will be offered to children who make a great effort in this area.
