Homework Policy
Children thrive on praise and encouragement. Time spent supporting your child’s progress will bring great benefits. Please monitor homework every evening and encourage reading for fun. Paired or shared reading is a highly satisfactory activity for reluctant readers, enhances their self-esteem and provides special “quality time” with their parents. Rhyming tables and sharpening the brain, with simple oral mental maths is fun and fantastic for your child.
