Amelia's first flight was when she was seven years old it was with a home made roller coaster.When she was eleven she saw one of the first Wright brothers aeroplane's,at a fair.On December 28,1920 she had her first ever flight.She later said that "I knew I had to fly" as soon as the plane was just the ground. Amelia worked very hard and with a little bit help from her mother, she could go to flying lessons.On June 1st, Earhart and her navigator Fred Noonan departed from Miami and began the 29,000-mile journey. By June 29th, when they landed in Lae, New Guinea, all but 7,000 miles had been completed.
