Scoil Ursula N.S.

We looked at paintings by the artist Edvard Munch. He created a very famous painting called 'The Scream'. We created our own versions of the scream, but we used Simpsons characters instead! We also recycled boxes and other items and created some very impressive houses. We donated our lovely houses to the two junior infant classes! We also worked very hard to create our own locality, under the transport theme. We made a large drawing of our area and included many things such as houses, roads, transport means- and even a man mowing the lawn! We had great fun making the giant collage! We also created a welcome sign for the special olympics and were very proud to display it as a 'big' welcome to all the athletes!
