It was Grandparent's Day. We had a visit from Ryan's Granny, Mrs Colleary She is a retired teacher. She spoke about her own teacher from her childhood. The teacher was one of the first people to have a television.
Ryan's Granny loves gardening. She brought in some plants for us to mind, tulips and snowdrops. She also brought in a Saint's Bridget's cross, buns and chocolate fruit.
We did an experiment. We wanted to get the light bulb to light up using wires and batteries. It was really fun.
We had Caoimhe’s Dad, Stephen, in today to do a few experiments with Ms O’ Keeffe’s 3rd Class for Science Week!! See below. Thanks a million, Stephen!!!
We are learning about electricity and here are some pictures of us making circuits. We plan to make lighthouses and insert the little bulbs in the lighthouse towers
Ms. Branley and her group of musicians have been busy preparing for this years concert for Seachtain na Gaeilge. Here's a short sample of what we'll be enjoying on Friday!
Well done to all the boys and girls for their hard work and thanks to Ms Branley for helping us out!
