This week is Science Week. A special scientist came in to show us some amazing experiments. The scientist was a parent from our class. Not only did he do experiments, he also did eggs-periments"! It was very "egg-citing". We learned about many scientific things. We saw sound waves, energy working, chemicals reacting to make rockets and many more exciting things. We talked about vacuums, pressure, and carbon dioxide. We had a fantastic and educational day.
We need to practice the second and third verse of away in a manger. Please sing along at home.
Here are our carols for our school performance. Practice at home.
In November we were learning about all different types of homes as well as homes in different countries. We also discovered that people can be homeless.
We learned that in Australia if you are very lucky you might have a swimming pool in the back of your house!
We made our own homes out of recycled materials. We worked well in groups. Here we are making our houses.
Here is the finished product. We have a little village in our classroom!
Ms. Clarke's Second Class. There are 27 children in our class and we shine brighter than any diamond in the world!
