This week we are reading the novel 'The Owl who was afraid of the dark'. We are really enjoying learning about the main character Plop and his fear about the dark.

Plop did not want to be a night bird. Let's help Plop discover more about who he is. Let's create a factfile about Barn owls for Plop.

Deserts are places on Earth that receive very little rainfall. The temperature is often very hot during the day and very cold during the night. The Sahara region in Africa is one of the largest desert regions in the world.

Welcome back everyone. We are now in our last term of school. We are very busy preparing for our First Holy Communion next week. WE are so excited and we are working very hard to learn all our prAyers.
We would like to congratulate everyone who participated in the Feis over Easter. WE are so lucky to have such a talented class. Listen to Rachael and MOlly H below saying their poems.
Ms Burke was in Paris over the Easter. Her sister was running in the Paris marathon. A marathon is a very tough run. Over 41,000 people ran in the marathon. Ms Burke's sister ran for 26 miles and she did an amazing time of 3 hours and 40 mins. It was a great day. Trés bien.and we are very proud of her.
