Scoil Ursula is Catholic in denomination and is under the patronage of the Catholic Bishop of Elphin, the Rev. Dr. Christopher Jones.

Scoil Ursula is a 22 teacher school, including administrative principal, fifteen class teachers, Learning Support, Resource and Language teachers.

From September 2007 Scoil Ursula is a fully co-educational school as for the first time there will be boys right up sixth class.

Scoil Ursula depends on the grants and teacher resources provided by the Department of Education and Science. Scoil Ursula follows the curricular programmes prescribed by the DES and operates within the regulations laid down by the DES.

Scoil Ursula supports the principles of :

• Inclusiveness, particularly with reference to the enrolment of children with a disability on other special educational needs. Equality with respect to maximum access and participation in the school.

School Hours :8.50 a.m. - 1.30 p.m. Junior Infants and Senior Infants.8.50 a.m. - 2.30 p.m. 1 st - 6th standards.
