We've been learning so much about the Normans in Ireland that we decided to make projects to show off our knowledge. There is a competition in the class to see which one is the best too! Here you can listen to us discussing our projects, see pictures of them and even see a video of us discussing our projects.
We designed, made and modelled our very own masks just before the Halloween break! It was so much fun making these!
Can you find yours? What do you like about the masks?
Our First Class school tour to Tullyboy farm was a great day out! We fed the animals, rode on the Barrel train and had a picnic!
First Class took a trip to The Book Factory at The Model where we enjoyed reading and made our own books! We had fun!
First Class read The Lighthouse Keeper's Lunch. Mr.Grinling worked on the lighthouse, cleaning and polishing the light. Every day three scavenging seagulls ate his lunch until Mrs. Grinling came up with an ingenious plan - mustard sandwiches!!
We encouraged everyone to walk or park and stride to school especially on Walk On Wednesday and Feet First Friday! Look at our funky shoes!
First Class took part in Reading with Friends over 5 weeks and typed a review of our books when we were finished. We read some exciting books!
