Congratulations to all our athletes who took part in the Athletics Fest in the IT last Friday. Despite the weather, it was a great occasion and well done to our Girls Junior 100m Team, our Girls Senior 200m Team and our Mixed Senior 100m Team all of whom were placed and won Sports Awards for the school. Thank you to Ms Caffrey & Ms Branley who oversaw the trials. Good luck to our Cross Country Athletes who represent the school tomorrow in the Sligo Primary Schools Cross Country Competition in Calry.

Our deepest sympathies to the Ms. Crowley, our 2nd class teacher, on the death of her father. We remember the work that Charlie Crowley did in our school and we are so grateful that we still have our very own Slí na Coille in the front grounds of our school. It was all thanks to Charlie. We also remember in our prayers and extend our sympathies to Ms. Crowley's mother, who spent many years teaching in Scoil Ursula.
